DVD or USB?
One of the most frequent questions our clients ask is "Should I transfer my videos to a DVD or a USB stick?" Here are my thoughts. If you have a DVD player in good working condition you should go DVD. It is a much nicer viewing experience. You just load it into your DVD player and it plays with an opening title page. You don't get that with a USB device. It's the same experience as opening a file on your computer. I know people are concerned about obsolenscence, however in time, all technology become obsolete.

Our film TransferMachine
Many video transfer companies use a projector to project onto a movie screen and then copy that with another video camera. That makes the quality not very good. This is our machine, it scans each individual frame one at a time. It takes a little a lionger to do it this way, but the the quality is outstanding.

Digital Transfers
There are several reasons why people should consider transferring their old videos to digital media:
Preservation: Old videos recorded on VHS tapes, camcorder tapes, and other analog formats can degrade over time due to wear and tear, humidity, and other environmental factors. By transferring these videos to digital media, you can preserve them for future generations.
Accessibility: Many modern devices, such as smartphones and tablets, don't have the capability to play VHS or other analog video formats. By transferring your old videos to digital media, you can ensure that you can still watch them on modern devices.
Sharing: Digital media makes it easier to share your old videos with friends and family. You can easily send digital copies of your videos via email, cloud storage, or social media.
Editing: Digital videos can be easily edited and enhanced using software. You can remove unwanted sections, add special effects, and improve the quality of the video.
Space-saving: Digital videos take up less physical space than VHS tapes or other analog formats. This can be especially important if you have a large collection of videos that you need to store.
